This is one of the greatest songs ever written! It glorifies the one and only true Jah, Jah Jehovah. It tells about his accomplishments and highlights the futility of ascribing the name of the Almighty God Jehovah, or Jah, to a politician or to a now deceased human ruler, who, when threatened by an enemy, sought the help of other governments to reclaim his position as king. I love it!

Lyrics

JAH, JAH JEHOVAH
Chorus
I am Jah, Jah Jehovah
I am the king who
No man can’t conquer
Jah, Jah Jehovah
I am the king who is ruling forever
Repeat

No call me Haile Selassie
Cause you insulting me
Ras Tafari cannot tell you
What the future will be
I am God Jehovah
The Almighty
The one telling from the beginning
The finality

Repeat Chorus

Where was Selassie when
I founded the earth
Back in the beginning
Tell me when was his birth?
Who created the people,
Who lived in between?
Man, you are living
A futile dream

Repeat Chorus

Though the heathen rage
Like the waves of the sea
You got to behave
When approaching me
Come on, be my slave
If you want to be free
Bald off the locks
And come worship me

Repeat Chorus
