Description

The third single release from North of Tomorrow's third album - Clear as Can Be. An ode to the media talking heads on both sides of the aisle who make over-reaching pronouncements from a distance while chasing ratings, likes and follows. Long-time collaborator, drummer Maurizio Antonini, who has the chops to follow where ever the music has lead over the years, finds a perfect pocket while the rest of the music moves the circus forward.

Lyrics

Whether something’s right or wrong.
Is depending on one’s point of view.
That is, until you came along
And defined the world
According to you.

You have all the answers
They are loud and indiscreet
All from the safety
Of your catbird seat.

On your way to Charlottetown.
Or you’re fine with Portland too.
Doesn’t matter who’s around.
The money paints
What you say is true.

You have all the answers
They are loud and indiscreet
All from the safety
Of your catbird seat.
Your catbird seat

Do you ever wonder why
You sold your soul so easily?
Just so any passerby
Can repeat your sermon
With conviction and glee.

You have all the answers
They are loud and indiscreet
All from the safety
Of your catbird seat.
Your catbird seat
From your catbird seat

From your catbird seat
From your catbird seat

From your catbird seat
