The first single to be released in the run-up to Alexander Broussard's new album can be heard everywhere from May 1.

In November 2022, Alexander made contact with the legendary Richie Cannata (the original saxophonist of Billy Joel's band) and the click between the two born musicians resulted in a thrilling concert with Alexander's The Billy Joel Experience in January 2023.

When Alexander told Richie that he was working on a new album of original material, the saxophonist said he would like to participate in that project.
It resulted in the beautiful “Must Be The Smile”: an atmospheric blue-eyed-soul track on which both the vocalist and the saxophonist are given every opportunity to excel.

About Alexander Broussard

Alexander already enjoyed some fame as a session musician and entertainer through his work with najib Amhali and with The Crazy Pianos. He broke through on his own merit thanks to the television program 'The Tribute: Battle Of The Bands', where he was a front man with his The Billy Joel Experience and, together with the other three finalists, shook a sold-out Ziggo Dome to its foundations.

In 2021, Alexander released his long-awaited second album 'Out Of The Blue', which was well received by both fans and media with its sturdy and melodic pop. Unfortunately, due to the Corona measures, only a very small-scale presentation could be held.

At the beginning of July '23, the third album 'Unfinished Business' will be released. Alexander opts for a less polished sound: the focus is on the heart of the band formed by Alexander on keys, Marcello Briganti (The Billy Joel Experience) on bass, Serge Naberman (PlusSupportAct, Rebelstar) on guitar and Dennis van Hoorn (PlusSupportAct, Golden Earring Undercover) on drums.

However, the songs are unmistakably Alexander's signature and are excellent to perform live due to the solid production.
